He was predeceased by: his parents, Casimer Hamerla and Marchetta Hamerla (Litzen); his siblings, Donna Cronmiller (Hamerla) and Casimir Hamerla; his parents-in-law, Joseph Welch and Violet Welch (McKanna); and his brother-in-law Joseph Welch Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Terri Hamerla; his children, Tina Westefer (Tony) and Tony Hamerla (Krystal); his grandchildren, Mersades, Devon Singer, Isaac, Delani, Khloe, Kylie Hamerla, Dylan Jones, Tyler, Hailey, Mikella and Olivia Westefer; his great grandchildren, Avery, LeLand Singer and Carson Westefer; his brothers, Don Hamerla, Tom Hamerla (Marilyn) and John Hamerla (Sarah); his sister-in-law Lisa Barrowman (Mike); his nephew Jake Barrowman; and his brother-in-law Mike Cronmiller. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
