She was predeceased by: her husband Ralph Irwin Bowen; her parents, Richard L. Carhart and Gladys Carhart; and her brother Richard Carhart. She is survived by: her children, Marcus Bowen (Sue), Rick Doyle and Sandy Silverman; her daughter-in-law Juanita Doyle; and her brother Robert Carhart.
