We announce the death of Sofia Pantoja De Guzman (Joliet, Illinois), who passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 62. She was predeceased by: her parents, Benito and Reyna; her husband José Guzmán Pantoja; and her brother Roberto Pantoja. She is survived by: her children, Andres, Armando, Lorena (Alyssa) and Jessica (Jay). She is also survived by sisters, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 3rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Delgado Funeral Chapel (400 Landau Ave, Joliet, IL 60432). A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the El Rancho De Cerro.
