Tana B. Gray Obituary
We bid farewell to Tana B. Gray of Joliet, Illinois, born in Pueblo, Colorado, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 29, 2025 at the age of 82. Tana touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Blazevic (Tony) and Elvira Blazevic (Baudino); her brother Terry Blazevic; and her nephew Bryce Blazevic. She is survived by: her husband Melville A. Gray Jr.; her daughters, Jennifer, Rachel Anderson (Olof) and Stephanie Gray (Dan Collins); her grandchildren, Quinn, Liam, Amelia Collins, Leif, Steffan, Annika, Charlotte Anderson and Joshua Gray; her sister-in-law Georgia Blazevic; and her caregivers, Melba and Carrie. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Home (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Queen of Apostles Catholic Church (18 Woodlawn Ave, Joliet, IL 60435). A burial will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Resurrection Cemetery.
