She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Wheeler and Verda Wheeler; her grandparents, George and Josephine Peterson; her husband Loren L. Sass; her sisters, June Kibling (Glenn) and Mercedes Schook; and her brothers-in-law, Daniel Sass and Charles Sass.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dr. Verda Hicks (Raymond) and Cheryl Herzmann (LaVerne); her grandchildren, Karla Martinez, Karin Evans (Josh), Dora Panlilio (Carlo), Henry Hunter, Stuart Hunter (Jackie) and Winston Hunter (Megan); her great grandchildren, Trevor, Thomas Martinez, Theodore, Lucas Panlilio, Wesley, Maeve and Sylas Hunter; and her sister-in-law Betty Sass. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
