With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Wendell Isom Sr. of Joliet, Illinois, who passed away on March 4, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Francis (Mellie McCauley Isom) and Paul; his in-laws, Woodward and Vivian Taylor; and his sister Nan Schahn (Lloyd Schahn).

He is survived by : his wife Virginia Ann Taylor; his children, Wendell (Donna) of Las Vegas and Rhonda (Tony) of Channahon, Illinois; his grandsons, Taylor Isom and AJ Frescura; his brother-in-law Taylor; and his niece Nancy Johnson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
