William E. Fields Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William E. Fields of Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 13, 2026 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though William may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those William touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Blackburn-Giegerich-Sonntag Funeral Home (1500 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60435).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Lightways Hospice and Serious Care.
