With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Kobe Jr. of Joliet, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on June 20, 2025, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Kobe and Anna Kobe; his sister Lillian Papesh (Michael); his brother-in-law Ed Myslivecek; his niece Tina Bozick; his grandchildren, Clara, Nora, Lelia Welsh and Chad Lewis; and his great grandchild Logan Youngblood.
He is survived by: his wife Charlene; his brothers, Dennis (DL) and Patrick (CJ); his grandchildren, Mandy Murtoff (Steve), Dawn Irwin, Nicole Obman (Mike), Erik Lewis (Carol), Shelley Warsaw (Matt Youngblood), Master Chief Ryan Warsaw (Andrea), Max Welsh (Jessica), Jessica Welsh, Anna Welsh and Shane Coyne (Carissa); his great grandchildren, Isabella, Ethan Murtoff, Danny, Abby Anderson, Chad, Connor Lewis of Wesley Youngblood, RJ, Shelby Warsaw, Milo Kobe Welsh, Gracie and Mallory Coyne; his niece Lynn Sealy; and his siblings-in-law, Eleanore Beutel, Janet Alsbury, James, Joann Beutel, Gordon, Nancy Beutel, Robert, Helen, George and John Alsbury. He is also survived by other nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Fred C. Dames Funeral Homes - Joliet (3200 Black Rd, Joliet, IL 60431). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Catholic Church (416 N Chicago St, Joliet, IL 60432).
