She was predeceased by: her siblings, Charles Compton, Felton Compton and Rosemary Jacobs; her daughter Sherry Bradford (James); and her grandchildren, Richard Boyd and Diamond Blackwell.
She is survived by: her children, Anitra Milam (Bruce), Kerwin Blackwell (Lavita) and Nolan Blackwell Jr.; her grandchildren, LaDonya, Deanna, Johnny, Candice, Brandon, Megan, Madison, Keagan, Autumn, Hannah, Makyla and Nolan; and her close friend Linola Spann (Jeraldine Rucker). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Minor-Morris Funeral Home, Ltd. (112 Richards St, Joliet, IL 60433). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
