With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Zoi Tsaliangos of Joliet, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 6, 2026 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dimitrios Kapsimalis and Galatia Kapsimalis; her husband George Tsaliangos; and her brothers, Athanasios and Nikolaos Kapsimalis.

She is survived by: her children, Chris "Xristos" Tsaliangos (Patricia) of Joliet and Maria Jonihakis (John) of Plainfield; her grandchildren, Teresa Eggman (Jason), Victoria Dutkiewicz (Danny), Zoi and Ari Jonihakis; her great grandchildren, Mia and Callie Eggman; and her siblings, Eleni Veve and Kostas Kapsimalis.
