He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Ury and Mary Helen Cerny Ury; his sister Susan Diehl (Dave) of Centralia, IL; and his parents-in-law, Fred and Norma Chamness.

He is survived by : his wife Alice Ury of Jonesboro, IL; his children, Ethan Ury of Jonesboro, IL and Erica Ury (John Asher) of Knoxville, TN; and his brother Scott Ury (Carolyn) of Anna, IL. He is also survived by many other relatives and dear friends.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Southeast Cancer Center or Hospice of Southern Illinois.
