He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis T. Petty and Mary Imogene Petty (Bittle); his brother Rodney "Rod" Petty; and his sister-in-law Earlene Highfield. He is survived by: his wife Della Petty of Jonesboro; his daughters, Candace Clardy (James) of Pinckneyville and Tamara Graves of Jonesboro; his grandchildren, Daniel Clardy (Kadie), Whitney Shahan (Dylan), Breanna Clardy (Cole Kelly), Luke and Taryn Graves; his great grandchild Peyton Stewart; his son-in-law Billy Graves of Anna; his brothers, Steve Petty of Carterville and Kevin Petty of Desloge, MO; and his brother-in-law Ray Highfield of Anna. He is also survived by nieces and nephews; numerous other extended family.
