The memory of Ervina M. Johnson of Jonesboro, Illinois, who passed away on July 29, 2025 at the age of 94, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ervin Darwin and Mary Marie Rogers (Stewart); her husband Donald E. Johnson; and her siblings, Maxine McClane, Armand Rogers and Richard Rogers.
She is survived by: her daughter Rhonda (Jim Brumitt) of Jonesboro; her granddaughter Lara (Mike Jackson) of Bowling Green, KY; and her sister Norma Sue (Scott Abney) of Lafayette, IN. She is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Jonesboro (201 W Walnut St, Jonesboro, IL 62952). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
Memorial contributions are preferred to the First Baptist Church in Jonesboro.
