He was predeceased by: his mother Juanita Pickel (Miller). He is survived by: his father John C. Pickel; his wife Sharen Pickel; his children, Eric Pickel and Carrie Barnett (John); his grandchildren, Owen Pickel, Axel Barnett and Lily Barnett; and his siblings, John Pickel (Shelby), Jane Womick (John) and David Pickel (Beverly). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
