As John departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy John leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pieratt and Lillian Pieratt (Taylor); and his brother Donald Pieratt. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer (Aaron Cook), Suzanne (Norman Magill), Cynthia Cain, Cheryl (Donald Allen), Gina Young, James (Andrea Arendt) and Alice Arendt; and his sisters, Carolyn Miller and Norma Sturm. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; thirty-eight great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.
