It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shielda Wheaton (Jonesboro, Illinois), who passed away on November 28, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Olin Frank and Clara Edna Wheaton (Wright); her brothers, Donald Smith and Ronald Smith; and her brother-in-law Jim Vines.
She is survived by: her daughters, Angela Horn (Scott) of Carterville and Michelle Bono (Keith) of Anna; her grandchildren, Josh, Julia Peeler, Kyle, Kassie Bunch, Olivia Bono, Fallon Stearns (Nick), Josie and Wyatt Horn; her great grandchildren, Laken, Eila Peeler, Everhett Bunch and Lyla Stearns; her sister Shirley Vines of Anna; and her sister-in-law Peggy Smith of Cape Girardeau. She is also survived by family members and close friends.
