With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Raymond Glen Kanady of Junction, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 26, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Kanady and Ethel Kanady (Parker); his wife Phyllis Freda Kanady (Terrell); his daughter Sandy Jean Kanady; and his siblings, Jerry Kanady, Beulah and Eula "Maxine" Hise (Leithis "Lee").
He is survived by: his daughters, Ethel Huddleston of Junction and Freda Rider (Sherman) of Shawneetown; his grandchildren, James "Jim" Newton (Jamie) of Junction, Shannon Sauls (Johnny Abell) of Shawneetown, Abby Rice (Rick) of Harrisburg and Sarah Rider of Junction; his great grandchildren, Druanne Newton of Junction, Tyler Newton (Abbi Arnett) of Junction, Hannah Sauls (Weston Riding) of Carbondale, Gracie Sauls of Marion, Adam Rice of Harrisburg, Gage and Gabriel Joiner of Junction; and his great great grandchild Ellie June Newton of Junction.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Elmwood Cemetery.
