He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wood (Oxford); his sons, Terry (Leeanne), Carl (Donna) and Roger Wood; his grandchildren, Brad Wood (Christy), Tim Wood (Courtney), Katie Martin (Matt), Cole Wood (Courtney), Blake Wood (Lindsey), Ryan Wood, Derek Wood (Denya) and Holden Wood (Deborah); his great grandchildren, Austin Wood (Kaley), James, Jude Wood, Bailee, Logan Martin, Case Rister, Caston Wood, Hayden Wood, Emma, Lincoln Wood, Rhett and Reid Wood; his sister Shirley Vespa; and his nieces and nephews, Vicky Claycomb, Jean Vespa, Pam Giveans (Darryl), Steve Wood and Jeff Wood. He is also survived by friends, and his church family.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Westwood Cemetery.
