We bid farewell to Aniela Rafacz (Justice, Illinois), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 17, 2025 at the age of 83. Aniela touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Wladyslaw Rafacz; her parents, Maria Bukowski and Wojciech Bukowski; and her siblings, Helena Morawa (late Jan), Jozef Bukowski (late Maria) and Wojciech Bukowski (late Anna).
She is survived by: her children, Ted Rafacz (Beata), Mary Lowisz (Andy) and Grace Rafacz (Dino Karmeris); her grandchildren, Joseph, Rozalia Rafacz, Richard Lowisz (Joanna), Alicia Lowisz, Kayla Lowisz (David Czupta), Nikko Karmeris (Amanda) and Antonio Karmeris; her great grandchildren, Michelangelo Visconti, Clara and Chloe Lowisz; and her brother Stanislaw Bukowski (Maria).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 21st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 7:30 AM to 8:30 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A prayer was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 8:30 AM to 8:45 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Saint Albert the Great Church (8029 S Central Ave, Burbank, IL 60459).
