She was predeceased by : her husband Stanislaw Maka; her parents, Aniela Fafrowicz and Jozef Fafrowicz; and her siblings, Ludwina Suchecka, Jan Fafrowicz, Andrzej Fafrowicz, Maria Kruczak and Stanislaw Fafrowicz.

She is survived by : her children, Helena Piatek (late Jozef) and Jozef Maka (Aneta); her grandchildren, Monika Galica (Dariusz), Joanna Klimaszka (Dariusz), Kamil Maka (Klaudia) and Kacper Maka; her great grandchildren, Krystian Galica, Sebastian Galica, David Klimaszka, Daria Klimaszka and Klemens Maka; and her sibling Wojciech Fafrowicz. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A prayer was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Faustina Kowalska Church (5255 S McVicker Ave, Chicago, IL 60638).
