He is survived by: his wife Irena; his children, Mariusz Sarna (Monika) and Violetta Sarna; his grandsons, Michael and Matthew; and his siblings, Janina Boldt (Piotr) and Elzbieta Lukawski (Edward). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
