Though Helena may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her husband Roman J. Lapa; her daughter Donna Lapa; and her parents, Maira Spiewak and Jan Spiewak. She is survived by: her children, Roman Lapa, Josephine Simon (Fredrick), John (Odette) and Richard Lapa; and her grandson Richard Roman Lapa.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Ltd. - Chicago (5088 S Archer Ave, Chicago, IL 60632-4546). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 12:45 PM at the Resurrection Cemetery (7201 Archer Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
