It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joanna Bryja (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on October 1, 2025, at the age of 30, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandfather Wladyslaw Bryja. She is survived by: her parents, Elżbieta Bryja and Marek Bryja; her brother Stanislaw; her grandparents, Krystyna, Stanislaw Szeliga, Weronika and Jan Habas; and her close friend Hazel. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Mother of the Church (116 Hilton St, Willow Springs, IL 60480).
