He was predeceased by: his wife Cecilia "Ceil" Mary; his daughter Mary Ogarek; his brothers-in-law, Michael Cahill (Connie), James Cahill and Patrick Cahill; and his parents, Marie Ogarek and Joseph Ogarek.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret "Peg" Ogarek, Joseph Ogarek and Catherine "Katie" Ogarek; his sister Maureen (Hugh) Cahill; Joe.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A prayer will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Saint Daniel the Prophet Church (5358 S Nashville Ave, Chicago, IL 60638).
