We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, at the age of 59, Michael W. Sauerwein (Justice, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Michael departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Michael. Though Michael may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Lisa Sauerwein; his children, Joey Sauerwein, Nicholas Sauerwein (Daisy) and Jessica Sauerwein; his granddaughter Scarlett; his parents, Brenda Sauerwein and George Sauerwein; his parents-in-law, Helen and Richard Moline; and his siblings, Steve Sauerwein (Laura), Laura Vilcek and Kevin Sauerwein (Jill). He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458).
