He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Abbott and Margaret Abbott (Wagner); his sister Theresa; and his nephews, Timmy and Patrick.
He is survived by: his siblings, Mary, Don, Maureen Ryan (Jim), Joe (Pam), Bill (Tanya), Val Bauer (Mike), Tony (Debbie), Liz Begley (Wayne) and Marcy Harding (Scott Crooks); and his nieces and nephews, Jess Ryan (John Tokarz), Maggie Ryan (Jacob Hamilton), Justin, Cody Harding, Sarah (Ryan O'Keefe), Zach Abbott, Jackie, Shannon Bauer, Kaitlyn, Megan and Tommy Begley. He is also survived by his extended family, including his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 23rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
