With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Pawel Kalec (Justice, Illinois), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2025 at the age of 27. Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Pawel leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Krystyna Kalec and Jozef Kalec; his brothers, Stanislaw Kalec (Jasia) and Adam Kalec (Justyna); and his nieces, Amelia Kalec and Natalia Kalec. He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home & Crematorium (7861 88th Ave, Justice, IL 60458). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Lady Mother of the Church (116 Hilton St, Willow Springs, IL 60480).
