It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Kaluza (Justice, Illinois), who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She is survived by: her siblings, Eleanor, Irene, Laverne, Anna Mae and Bill; her daughters, Karen (Pahuski), Kathy (Ryan) and Sharon; her sons-in-law, Jack and Mike; her grandchildren, Erin, Lauren and Matthew; and her grandson-in-law Mathew Sanders.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that, in honor of her memory, you do something she would approve of: contribute to your favorite charity, say what you really think, root for the Sox (but don't expect a win), and eat the good potato salad.
