He is survived by: his wife Janina Mierzwa; his children, Malgorzata Kolpak (late Zbigniew), Bozena Kepinski (Piotr) and Marcin Mierzwa (Iwona); his grandchildren, Dominika Sinatra (Giusseppe), Karolina Kolpak, Maciej Kepinski (Katie), Sebastian Kolpak (Sara), Gabriela Kolpak, Michal Kepinski, Kuba Mierzwa and Antoni Mierzwa; his great grandchildren, Liliana, Aurora, Mila and Sophia; and his siblings, Jan Mierzwa (Janina) and Anna Mierzwa. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
