He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnieszka Kowalczyk and Jozef Kowalczyk. He is survived by: his wife Agnieszka Kowalczyk; his children, Krzysztof Kowalczyk, Krystyna Vranicar and Karol Kowalczyk; his grandsons, Liam Vranicar and Dylan Vranicar; and his siblings, Karol Kowalczyk and Władysława Ustupski. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
