He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Romain Lambert and Kathryn Lambert (Duffield); his wife Nancy J. Lambert (Young); his daughters, April Lambert of East Prairie, MO., June Breckenridge (Beau) of Kankakee, IL., Sheila McCain (Heath) of Sikeston, MO., Colleen Lambert (Wendell) of Kankakee, IL. and Ramona Thomas (John) of Rockvale, TN.; and his siblings, Judy Grob of Bradley, IL., Mary Liet (Dale) of Grant Park, IL., Gerald Levesque (Valerie) of Bourbonnais, IL. and Shirley Conners (Rick) of Kankakee, IL.. He was also cherished by 8 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 11th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (428 S Indiana Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
