She is survived by: her children, Mark Hess (JoAnn) of Bourbonnais, Kurt Hess of Bourbonnais, Marcia Klapper of New York and Kristina Glanville of Michigan; her brother-in-law John Steer of Urbana; and her grandchildren, Daniel, Jill, Claire, Jessie, Joshua, James and Owen. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
