She is survived by: her husband Leonard Surprenant of Kankakee; her children, Timothy Surprenant (Andrea Moe) of Portland, OR and Cindy; her son-in-law Zahir Masud of Bolingbrook; her siblings, Sherrie Cass of Kankakee and Billy; her sister-in-law Debbie Cagle; her grandchildren, Sulaiman Masud, Luquman Masud and Khadijah Masud; and her great grandchildren, Karim Masud and Ibrahim Masud.
