He was predeceased by: his parents, Jimmie Springer and Cora Lizzy Springer (Jones); his son Sean Springer; and his brothers, Eugene, Harry and Jessie Springer.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta Wells; his daughters, Curtina of Milwaukee, Kira Springer of Milwaukee and La'Kisha Wilson of Wichita, Kansas; his siblings, Mildred of Kankakee, Evelyn Washington (Xavier) of Kankakee, Alisa Springer of Kankakee, Sandra Kay Springer of Burnham, Illinois, Carl of Kankakee, Illinois and Jerry Springer of Kankakee, Illinois; his sister-in-law Deborah Springer of Memphis, Tennessee; and his friend Curtis. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, family members.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Jones Funeral Home (1055 N Schuyler Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (717 N Wildwood Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
