We announce the death of Dennis Ray Tobenski of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 72. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Tobenski and Geraldine Tobenski (Denault); and his sisters, Vicki Hensley (Rob), Bonnie Draper and Connie Dionne (Rex).
He is survived by: his wife Janice Tobenski (Smith); his sons, Dennis M. Tobenski (Darien Shulman) of Astoria, NY and Denton Tobenski of Nashville, TN.; and his siblings, Pam Kennedy (late Bill) and Randy Tobenski (Jill). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, a donation can be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society or to a cancer research organization of your choice.
