She was predeceased by: her parents, Vester Long (Dick) and Cleo Long; her husband Robert Giles; and her sister Patricia Breymeyer. She is survived by: her brother Darrell Long (Michele); her sons, Bobby Giles of Benton, Bruce Giles (Anita Perrin) of Salem, Brian Giles (Deborah) of Menomonee Falls and Michael Giles (Dolly) of Pleasant Hill; her grandchildren, Jessica Nibeck (Donny), Samantha Giles (Liam Mueller), Caitlin Giles (Tim Mudra), Audra Rascher, Rebecca Moore (Sean) and Geoffrey Giles; and her great grandchild Ripley Nibeck Donna.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
