It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ethel Moore (Kankakee, Illinois), born in Clarksdale, Mississippi, who passed away on February 22, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Richardson and Samella Richardson (Aaron); and her husbands, Robert Roundtree and Floyd Moore. She is survived by: her children, Floyd (Debra Richardson), Alan (Terry Roundtree), Robert (Sharon Roundtree), David (Sheila Roundtree), Johnny B. Moore of Chicago, Illinois, Harry Moore of Oceanside, California., Anne L. Solomon of Belle Rose, Louisiana, Hattie Mae Chandler of Hammond, Indiana, Janice, Jimmie Lenard of Clarksdale, Mississippi., Tommie Roundtree, Jerry Roundtree, Eddie Roundtree, Percy, Jose Solomon, Lucinda Moore, Verline Carroll (Richardson), Roberta Burns (Richardson) and Velma Moore; her grandson Raymond Roundtree; and her great grandchild Donye Thompson. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren, more than 50 great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
