She was predeceased by: her parents, William Haag and Etta Haag (Mueller); and her husband Howard Schalmo. She is survived by: her children, Gary Schalmo (LuAnn Reid) and Cheryl Hille (Ken) of Ashkum; and her brother Floyd Haag of Cullom. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Lutheran Church or Prairieview Lutheran Home.
