It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Floyd J. Wesemann Jr. of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on January 7, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd J. Sr. Wesemann and Mary Etheridge Wesemann; his wife Diana Allison; his sister Katie Rae Wesemann; and his grandchildren, Lauren Coleman and Kameron Allison.

He is survived by: his children, Vonn Wesemann (Cathy) of Tennessee, Floyd "John" Wesemann III (Uljana) of Tennessee, Ericka Alexander (Earl) of Kankakee, Tara Coleman of Kankakee, Shellene Porterfield (Shawn) of Tennessee and Kratina Wesemann of Herscher; his siblings, Ethel Jordan of Buckingham, Amanda Hartley of Buckingham and Edward Wesemann of Pensacola, Florida; his stepchildren, Jacob, Jessica, Matt, Andrew and Stephanie Allison; his close friends, Gary and Linda Phoenix of Tennessee; and his pets, Thor, Corbin and Deede. He is also survived by many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
