He was predeceased by: his parents, French Johnson, Jr. and Louise Johnson (Williams); and his daughter Hadassah Mathis. He is survived by: his wife Jeanetta L. Johnson (Holden) of Kankakee; his children, Leon Pankey of St. Paul, MN, French Johnson IV of St. Paul, MN, Tenise Smith of Birmingham, AL, Alexandrea Brooks (Willie) of Chandler, AR and Shantelle Hill of Matteson, IL; his siblings, Kay F, Amy Louise Jones of St. Louis, MO, Arthur Williams of Kankakee, IL, Larry Walker (Mary Nell) of Kankakee, IL and W. David Johnson (Jennifer) of Kankakee, IL; his goddaughters, Tracy and Crystal; and his close friends, Gail Parker and Debbie Prude. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild.
