He was predeceased by: his parents, James Davis and Cora Williams; his sister Thelma J. Davis; and also Lemond Jefferson. He is survived by: his brother Bruce Davis of Kankakee; his sibling's children, Joycelynn McKenzie of Kankakee, Lori Hall of Covington, TN and Steven J. McKenzie of Kankakee; and his great-niece Tynickce Herrod of Lexington, KY.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
