He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio González Tovar and María Jiménez Marín; his wife Josefina González Arellano; and his son Jose G. González (Ria Bisbikas). He is survived by: his children, Efrain González (Jennifer), Luz Evelia Unzueta (Jose Luis), Maria Delia Martinez (Ramon), Martha González and Elvia González. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Jensen Funeral Home (3639 E IL-17, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. John Paul II Catholic Church. A burial was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 2:00 PM at 1400 S Wolf Rd, Hillside, IL 60162.
