Though Joseph may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joseph touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his sister-in-law Nancy Patterson. He is survived by: his children, Vincent Paul Martino (Jeanette) and Kristina R. Knowles (Daniel); his grandchild Darian DeYoung; his nephew Michael Patterson; his great-niece Cori Lou Patterson; his great-nephew Ethan Patterson; and his brother-in-law Wayne Patterson.

Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, or Boystown.
