She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Frederick and Florence Archer Frederick; her husband Dr. Herman D. Bentz; her son Matthew Bentz; her sons-in-law, Glenn "Chip" Lantz and Phillip Southan; and her siblings, Jeanine Handjani and Paul Frederick.
She is survived by: her children, Pamela Nottke (Alan) of Bourbonnais, Steven Bentz (Dianne) of Coon Rapids, MN, David Bentz of Brooklyn Park, MN, Wendy Lantz of Fullerton, CA and Janelle Southan of Elkins, AR; her daughter-in-law Renita Bentz-Miller; and her sister Marvalee Morris of Denver, CO. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
