She was predeceased by: her parents, George Carpenter and Doreen Carpenter (Kamp); and her husband Arthur Cagle. She is survived by: her children, Deborah Mann (Lee Ann Maas) of West Liberty, IA, Karen Botkin (Douglas) of North Aurora, IL, Robert Riley (Dawn) of Limestone Township and David Cagle (Sheri) of Manteno, IL; her grandchildren, Stephanie Bennett (Dan) of Shelby Township, MI, Jared Mann of Denver, CO, Bryce Johnson (Elizabeth) of Phoenix, AZ, Samantha Prosser (Jacob) of St. Charles, IL, Jacqueline Van Kammen (Cameron) of St. Charles, IL, Zachary Botkin of Chicago, IL, Daniel Botkin (Rebecca) of Minneapolis, MN, Kellie Adams (Mark) of Aurora, IL, Lorisha Riley, Erin Molloy (Andrew) of Braceville, IL, Alan Riley (Annie) of Bourbonnais, IL, Molly Jensen (Matt) of Green Bay, WI, Victoria Felty (Zachary) of Chicago, IL and Joseph Sikma (Abigail) of Kankakee; and her sister Diane Arseneau (Pete). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
