It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Justin J. Harris of Kankakee, Illinois, who passed away on October 8, 2025, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Ollie D. Harris; his grandparents, Walter, Jennie Lee, Dennis and Clare Mullin; and his uncles, Reese Mullin and Dennis Mullin, Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lorita Denise Benard of Kankakee; his daughter Ravin Autman (Matt McGill) of Kankakee; his brother Jarvis Harris (Barnetta) of Kankakee; and his sisters-in-law, Merita Segar of Kankakee and Kaye Benard of California. He is also survived by two grandchildren, several aunts, a uncle, nieces, nephews, cousins other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Second Baptist Church (717 N Wildwood Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
