Though Leonard may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, his essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Hamlin and Rose Hamlin (Carfagno); his sister Nancy Ceriani; and his sister-in-law Shirley Hamlin. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Hamlin of Kankakee; his children, Kenneth Hamlin (Patricia) of Bradley and Melody Adams (Ty) of Kankakee; and his brother Kenneth Hamlin of Florida. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to VITAS Hospice, the Illinois Veterans' Home at Manteno, or the Kankakee County Humane Foundation.
