She was predeceased by: her parents, Fordie Fortinberry and Lula McGowan-Fortinberry. She is survived by: her children, Jessie, Lois, Loretta, Novella, Allen, Karen (James) and Roland. She is also survived by 12 Grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Fair Haven Church of God in Christ (697 N Hobbie Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
