She was predeceased by: her parents, Irving Jones and Rosa Jones Greenway; her husband Ural Taborn; her son Anthony "Tony" Taborn; and her siblings, Carl Jones, George Jones, Robert Jones, Helen Stewart, Earlene Jones, Rosemary Jones and Mary Willis (Green).

She is survived by: her sons, Gregory Taborn of Chicago, Illinois, Kim Taborn (Lisa) of Bloomington, Illinois and Brian Taborn (Malicho) of Matteson, Illinois. She is also survived by grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family.

A wake will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Second Baptist Church (717 N Wildwood Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901). Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
