He was predeceased by: his father Adrian Denault; and his stepfather Douglas Call. He is survived by: his mother Kathleen Call of Kankakee; his sisters, Michelle Shear of Kankakee, Brenda Wetzel (Dan) of Kankakee and Andrea Dean (Tom) of Oswego; his nieces, Erica Tonn (Kevin), Olivia O'Brien (Mitchell), Kayla Pfeiffer (Brock), Abagail Newsom (Adam) and Lily Dean (Tanner Bortolazzo); his nephew Colin Dean (Katie Cavanagh); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Isla Pfeiffer, Gwen Pfeiffer, Scarlett Tonn, Walter Tonn and Leo Newsom; his aunt Betty Azzarelli; his uncle Gerald Palmateer; and his friend Dr. Martin Dubravec. He is also survived by many cousins along with extended family.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kankakee - Clancy-Gernon-Hertz Funeral Home (1480 W Court St, Kankakee, IL 60901). A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church (428 S Indiana Ave, Kankakee, IL 60901).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary's Hospital Volunteer Department in Michael's memory.
